The goal of physiotherapy is to help you get back to the activities you love, and pelvic health physiotherapy is no different! I want to understand how an injury or condition is impacting your day to day, discover the root cause, and help you through the process of recovery. My approach is built on education, manual therapy, and movement or exercise, with a focus on learning how the pelvic floor muscles need to work within the system of your body. We always need to start with an assessment, and then we can determine the right type of follow up for you. Physiotherapy treatment is for everyone - I'm happy to offer treatment specifically tailored for each member of your family.

The goal of children's physiotherapy is to help you get your child back to the activities they love. I want to understand how an injury or condition is impacting their day to day, discover the root cause, and help them and your family through the process of recovery. I understand that childhood pelvic floor dysfunction impacts the whole family, and I want to work with you to make realistic and achievable changes. My approach is built on education, manual therapy, and movement or exercise. We always need to start with an assessment, and then we can determine the right type of follow up for you. Physiotherapy treatment is for everyone - even though it might be hard work, it doesn't mean we can't make it fun!

Alison graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2014, with a Masters of Physical Therapy. With a background in professional dance, she has always loved figuring out how people move, and supporting them in finding ways to move better.

Alison has additional education in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy, and completed a Post-Graduate Certificatein Physiotherapy (Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy) in 2018. She has also taken coursework in Pelvic Girdle Pain, Diastatsis Rectus Abdominis management, Perinatal Care, Pelvic Organ Prolapse, and much more.
